Support for Families from the NJDOEAs parents or guardians, you want nothing more than excellent education for your children. At the NJ Department of Education, we want nothing more than to help you achieve this!
We have created a family-focused web site at www.NJFamilies.com with resources to help you support your child's education, and navigate your school system. We have also opened a "Help Desk" which can be reached through the parent menu option of our toll-free number: 877-900-6960. Let's work together for the good of our children. Important Update-Supplemental Educational Services Any child in the high school or middle school who receives free or reduced lunch is eligible to receive supplemental educational services. Supplemental educational services (SES) are additional academic instruction designed to increase the academic achievement of students in schools in the second year of improvement. These services, which are in addition to instruction provided during the school day, may include academic assistance such as tutoring, remediation and other supplemental academic enrichment services. Interested parents of high school students who qualify may contact the building principal, Mrs. Gravenor, pgravenor@delsearegional.us for a list of provider organization and to answer questions.
